UTAH LIGHT DISPLAYS

Here are my 2007 picks for the best residential displays in the Salt Lake area.  To be included in this list the display must be unique, have a fun and interesting theme, and be better than average.  There are several fantastic displays in the area but these ones stand out above the rest!

5641 Whispering Pine Circle (820 E.), Murray:  This display is created by my friend and Neighbor Oren Shepherd.  He is just two doors down from my place.  His display will take your breath away!  While this display has more light per square foot than just about any other, it is very tasteful and organized.

Dave Horting's Display,  4346 West 3925 South, West Haven:   Dave is one of only a handful of people of in Utah who has a computer controlled digital display.  Click here for his website.  Dave uses the same controllers and computer software that I use at Christmas Utah.  West Haven is about a forty-five minute drive from Salt Lake,  West of Roy City.

Holdman Christmas:   Another very tasteful computer controlled display in Pleasant Grove. Click here for their website which includes driving directions and videos.  This display is a must see!

3325 W. and from 5386 to 5295 South, Taylorsville:  An entire street of decorated houses and yards with the theme "Twas the Night Before Christmas.".

4346 South Maidie Lane (3570 W.), West Valley City:  Kim Player's display.  A real fun display with a yard full of interesting displays.  The spinning Ferris Wheel full of teddy bears is my favorite.  The display also includes several inflatable figures, blowmolds, and unique items.

851 East Eaglewood Drive, North Salt Lake: The Schaefermeyer display.  Computer controlled and synchronized to music.

The Nunley's, 805 East 18th Avenue, Salt Lake City: A festive display overlooking Salt Lake City.  Go straight up "I" street till you head east; you will then be on 18th avenue.

Lee Penrod's Display in Stansbury ParkClick here for his website which includes driving directions and photos.  A very impressive display that lights up the Tooele Valley!!

3800 S. right across the street from Skyline High School:  Comparable to Christmas vacation.  Drum roll please!

Winder Lane: about 4100 South and 4400 West in West Valley.

Fantasy At The Bay:  Sonny and LeAnn Gilbert from Brigham City do this fantastic display inside the Willard Bay State Park.

If you know of other displays that belong on this list please send an email to marty at christmasutah.com.  I would love to drive by and take a look.
